Dubious Deeds & Village Feuds

Hi, I'm Claire.

About Killer Rabbits & Village Feuds

Medieval history is supposed to be castles, kings and knights.

And yes, there are plenty of those.

But I keep finding the other stuff.

That's the stuff I can't stop looking at.

Killer Rabbits & Village Feuds grew out of a simple obsession: finding the medieval things that make you stop scrolling and think, β€œWhat the hell am I looking at?”

I find the images and records, dig into where they came from, work out what we actually know about them, and then turn them into books and stories that are much more interested in making you curious than giving you a history lesson.

Because yes, there's history behind all of it.

But that's not really the point.

The point is the surprise.

The ridiculousness.

The fact that someone hundreds of years ago thought this was worth drawing, recording, arguing about or putting in a court roll.

I want Killer Rabbits & Village Feuds to be the place you come when you have five minutes and fancy discovering something gloriously weird.

No homework.

No dates to memorise.

No exam at the end.

Just real medieval stuff, properly researched, presented with a healthy amount of WTF.

So have a look around.

Find something strange.

Follow your curiosity.

And if you find yourself thinking β€œThey actually did that?”...

You're in exactly the right place.
